Today AWS announced the Goldman Sachs Financial Cloud for Data, in partnership with Goldman Sachs. Users can also generate accurate predictions, and publish results and collaborate with other users. SageMaker Canvas enables users to run an entire machine learning workflow with a simple point & click user interface. Amazon SageMaker Canvas enables businesses to create machine learning predictions without any ML experience, or the need to write code. Mr Selipsky seemed particularly excited to announce the launch of Serverless and On-demand Analytics into preview today for 4 AWS services:Īmazon SageMaker Canvas was launched into general availability today. The feature also eliminates the need for custom error handling code or batching updates. The service automatically manages conflicts and errors, and ensures consistent views for all Lake Formation users. Transactions for Governed Tables in Lake Formation has launched into general availability today. Thousands of instamces can be combined for the most complex ML model training. The TRN1 instance can be used to train machine learning models for myriad applications. C7G instances will be available in multiple sizes including bare metal instances, and will be equipped with DDr5 RAM which uses less power and delivers 50% higher bandwidth than DDr4 RAM. The C7g instance is optimized for compute intensive workloads such as HPC, media encoding and electronic design automation. The C7G instance has been launched into preview today, powered by AWS Graviton 3 silicon. 3 x faster for machine learning workloads.2 x faster floating point performance for scientific workloads.Today Adam Selipsky announced the new Graviton3 chips, which are 25% faster on average than Graviton2 silicon. Graviton3ĪWS have been working hard on building out their own silicon offering higher performance at a lower cost than traditional silicon vendors. In case you missed it, here are all the new AWS services that Adam Selipsky announced during his inaugural re:Invent keynote. Although with 5 minutes to go there were a huge amount of empty seats visible – perhaps numbers were restricted due to Covid19? I’m sure it’s no reflection on Zach’s performance…Īnd of course 2021 is also AWS 15th Anniversary, so prior to Mr Selipsky taking the stage, we were treated to a video overview of the biggest milestones of the last 15 years of AWS, such as the launch of S3 in 2006, followed 5 months later by the launch of AWS EC2. It looks like Zach Person signed a mutli year deal as the warm up act – he entertained the crowd while the seats filled up in anticipation of the main event.
